All of the food in our afternoon tea boxes is prepared by our chefs on the day your order is due to be shipped. Whenever possible, we always try to source British seasonal produce. From our jams made in Essex, to our Scottish salmon; and the eggs laid less than 8 miles from our kitchen, we only use the finest possible produce!

All is delivered in especially designed chilled packaging suitable for delivery of food items. Kindly note that once received all products are best enjoyed within 24 hours after delivery/ on day of delivery.

Had the pleasure of being bought a beautiful afternoon tea set from this company and have to say everything was delicious!! The sandwiches, quiche, scones, macarons and cakes - really impressed. We received an Afternoon Tea Box as a Christmas present. As a home baker, I have a level of scrutiny, but this was absolutely delicious. And the cakes lasted for over a week without going stale. I would definitely now gift this to friends. My only point to improve things would be to add a sachet of coffee and/or hot chocolate (I'm not sure if this an option on ordering) as I do not drink tea 🙂

I had the pleasure of receiving this gorgeous champagne afternoon tea box on Saturday as a gift. It arrived promptly and was beautifully packaged and it was also very cold and fresh due to the cold packs.The afternoon tea was one of the nicest I’ve ever had. The selection of sandwiches were so fresh and tasty, I loved the cream cheese sandwich! And the scones were to die for, just the right texture and delicious. The caramel slice was also Devine. There was so much food, we grazed on it all day. Simply delicious.Before I received my afternoon tea, I had great communication with the company and they catered to my needs so well (I don’t like salmon or nuts, so the food selection was altered accordingly). They couldn’t do enough for me.I have already recommended Afternoon Tea Box to my friends and family, and I’ll definitely use them again.Keep up the good work xI’ve attached a photo of me enjoying my afternoon tea on a picnic in Durham x

I ordered an afternoon tea for two for my wife's birthday ... and it was wonderful! It was delivered in prefect condition and the choice of sandwiches, scones, and cakes was first rate. I will certainly order from Afternoon Tea Box again.

Now had two afternoon teas, and a half and half victoria sponge. Simply delicious. The only very small comment I would make regarding the afternoon teas is that they've been unstinting with all the contents except the jam for the scones. Which is odd as its normally the clotted cream there's never enough of. But a small point, and will definitely order again.

Ordered an afternoon tea box for Valentines weekend. It was dispatched and delivered with no issue. It was packaged so well to keep contents fresh and moist - insulated wrap, ice packs and good protective packaging. We chose this company over a local one we've previously used as the menu was much more to our taste and offered a good variety of classic foods you'd want in an afternoon tea (Local one was running a limited, yet luxury, menu due to going away, but was a tad too fancy for our taste) It comes with a lovely quality printed menu card and info slips. Everything tasted really good and fresh. Definitely would not be disappointed to receive as a gift, either, as presentation is as good as can be for food that is going through a courier system. (Nice layer of tissue paper and printed menu) Felt food was of a good quality, and good portion size for money. Recognised brands, such as Tiptree jam. Would definitely use again.

Really, Really impressed with the Afternoon Tea Box that I ordered! I ordered a box for her as a present to cheer her up and we shared the sandwiches and the treats together!We received a delivery slot by text and email and the package arrived in that time window. The box looked like it had a bit of a knock in the delivery van, but the contents were all perfect. Most of the packaging and insulation is paper, so everything was kept nice and cool when we tucked in. There was very little plastic, which is good :)The food was delicious!! Absolutely loved the sandwiches and the scones with jam and cream were such a good treat. We warmed up the scones in the microwave for 20 seconds before eating them. I've added a few pics to see what we received... I forgot to take pics before starting on the sandwiches!!!Thank you so much to the Afternoon Tea Box team!! I'll be ordering another box for Mother's day in a few weeks. The perfect gift and really good value! 😀
